JCFD receives chocolate-chipped appreciation
The Jessamine County Fire District Station 1 received freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies from residents of Morning Pointe Senior Living in Lexington on Saturday, August 19. Resident Norma Walton (left) Reva Brumagen (center) and Jo Ramey prepared and delivered the cookies to show their appreciation for all the valuable work done by the fire department. Receiving the two boxes of cookies were Major Mike Cassidy (left) and firemen Matt Williams and Joel Mansur.
