Chamber hosts successful golf scramble
The Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a golf scramble at Connemara Golf Course that raised over $15,000.
At total of 27 teams with 22 whole sponsors and multiple business sponsors participated in the event.
Nate Geis with All God’s Children won first place in the mega putt, his golf ball was the only one to make it in the hole.
The overall winning team was Highbridge with a score of 55
All God’s Children took second place with 56.
During the scramble, teams were given “drunk goggles” provided by officer Kevin Grimes with the Nicholasville Police Department. The goggles mimicked being impaired four times the legal limit. Sargent and Greenleaf took the prize with a sobering score of 12.
The money raised during the scramble will help the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce continue to grow and develop.
