• On Saturday, May 6, University of the Cumberlands (UC) conferred 927 degrees during the annual commencement ceremonies. Among them were Morgan Brogli of Nicholasville, who earned a Master of Arts in Teaching degree; Jonathan Herrington of Nicholasville, who earned a Master of Arts in Teaching degree; Kelly Owens of Nicholasville, who earned a Master of Arts in Education degree; Marcia Prentice of Nicholasville, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree; Rachael Seals of Wilmore, who earned a Master of Arts in Teaching degree; Rebecca Thayer of Nicholasville, who earned a Master of Arts in Education degree and Billy Young of Nicholasville, who earned a Education Doctorate degree.
• Kasey Hamblen of Nicholasville was one of more than 780 candidates for graduation who recently completed their classwork with an associate degree, diploma or certificate from West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
• Bryana Adana Green of Jessamine County was among 600 others to graduate from South Central Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) on Friday, May 5 at the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center in Bowling Green.
• Jack Stucky of Nicholasville was named to the Spring 2017 Dean’s List at Berry College.
• James Kaup of Nicholasville was named to the President’s List and the Dean’s List for the spring 2017 semester at the University of the Cumberlands.
• Regina Smith of Nicholasville was named to the President’s List and the Dean’s List for the spring 2017 semester at the University of the Cumberlands.
• Campbellsville University conferred 558 degrees on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13. Among them were Devon Burnside of Nicholasville, who received a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management; Nicholas Schuerman of Nicholasville, who received a Master of Arts in School Improvement and Brittany Scott of Nicholasville, who received a Master of Arts in Special Education in Teacher Leader.
