Student exhibits representing 15 countries were on display at the Culture Fair held May 1 at the Jessamine County Adult Education Center in Nicholasville.
The evening’s theme of “Unlearn Hate and Fear” was expressed through Indian henna tattoos, Ukrainian choirs, Sudanese hair braiding, Nigerian headdress, Nicaraguan games, Puerto Rican mask-making, Venezuelan dancing, Egyptian jewelry, Pakistani fashion, Japanese calligraphy and food dishes from around the world.
The event was coordinated by instructor Casondra Radford along with dozens of English Language Program students.
