Wilson Routt

Wilson Morgan Routt, 74, husband of Susan Lee Jones Routt passed Tuesday, March 21, 2017. He was born September 7, 1942 in Jessamine County to the late Wilson Morgan and Mildred Brown Denny Routt. Wilson was a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Engineering, working for IBM/Lexmark as an electrical engineer for over fifty years. He enjoyed math and spending time with his family. Wilson was also an Air Force Veteran. Additional family survivors are a daughter, Kristin Marie Routt; two step-daughters, Emily Kudrytski and Anna Stevenson; a grandchild living at home, Sophia Routt; and other grandchildren; a brother, Bob (Stephanie) Routt; two nephews Nathan (Dani) Routt and Mason (Kenna) Routt; and other family members. He was also preceded by his first wife, Mary Lou Veal Routt. The service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Day Wilson officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
