Jessamine County Circuit Clerk, Doug Fain, received the Distinguished Alumni Award on Feb. 3 from Jessamine County Schools.

“One of the privileges I have as superintendent is to recognize and celebrate those who impact our community,” Superintendent Kathy Fields said in a social media post. “Doug Fain’s service to our schools has been invaluable. ‘Thank you’ seems so inadequate.”

Fain has participated in several events at the school, including the mock crash in October.
