A dentist who operated a private dental office in Jessamine County for 20 years now has an office in Lexington. 

Dr. Malcolm Miracle has joined HealthPoint Family Care — a private, nonprofit primary care practice based in Covington. Miracle will be seeing patients at the new office located at 1401 Harrodsburg Road in the KentuckyOne Health (St. Joseph’s) Office Park Building A on the 5th floor.  

“After being away from Nicholasville since 2009 to provide dental services for the U.S. Army and Veterans Health Administration, I’m glad to be back,” Miracle said in a press release from HealthPoint Family Care. “I look forward to seeing many of my former patients as well as providing dental care with HealthPoint to serve the needs of residents of Fayette, Jessamine and surrounding counties.”

All Kentucky Medicaid plans are accepted and a sliding fee scale is available for uninsured patients, according to the press release. Dental and medical appointments can be scheduled by calling 859-881-4288. HealthPoint’s office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30 to 5 p.m. and Wednesday’s 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
