Diversicare of Nicholasville presented a $1,000 check to the Salvation Army on Thursday, Nov.17. 

Portions of that check was donated to the Share a Smile Holiday Food Drive, an annual food drive created M.R. Bishop DMD and Associates and supported by several healthcare organizations in the community. 

The Share a Smile Holiday Food Drive made a goal of feeding 100 families for the holidays.

“Now our goal can be completed,” Terri Fischer, with M.R. Bishop DMD and Associates, said. 

The ceremony was hosted at the Salvation Army headquarters in Nicholasville.
