Domino’s Delivery takes a turn, robbed and attacked

Friday night Domino’s received a call for a pizza run at 265 on Gainesville Dr. in Nicholasville, Officer Kevin Grimes said.

However, it took a turn for the worst.

When the female Domino’s driver reached the address she saw a white woman standing in the driveway. When Domino’s approached the woman she said would be right back with the money for the pizza.

Grimes said at the time a male in a white hoodie approached the Domino’s Driver and told her to give him all her money. The driver was hit with a blunt object to the back of the head and to the face.

The subjects took the pizza, cash and the driver’s personal items.

“The address was used as a ruse,” Grimes said.

Josh Driskell, resident at the address, told WKYT that the robbers used his address for their fake order to lure the driver there.

Since Monday the Nicholasville Police Department has received no other information on the case.

Anyone with any information regarding the case should contact the Nicholasville Police at 859-885-9467.
