Darrell Dean Life, 86, of Lexington Rd, Wilmore, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022, at Wesley Village. He was born in Iola, Kansas, on May 15, 1936, to the late Rev. Paul and Jean Foster Life. He was a retired family practice physician servicing the people of Red Bird Mission for 20 years, finishing his career at Cave Run Clinic, Morehead, Kentucky. He was a member of the Wilmore Free Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his wife Florence Marie (Fuchs) Life, parents, sister Laurice Madill. He is survived by four sons, Kevin Scot Life (Janet), Mark Dean Life, Eric Brent Life (Leslie), and Darin Curt Life (Traci), a sister Donna Gillmore, five grandchildren, Richard Life, Terrance Life, Michael Life, Brandon Life, Stephen Life. Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 6, 2023, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Pastor Darrell Diddle officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Grandchildren will serve as bearers. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Wesley Village Benevolent Fund.
