Rwanda C. Crutcher, 61, loving mother of Alisa, left her earthly home on Dec. 11, 2022. A native of Lexington she was born Aug. 10, 1961 to Shirley Johnson Masters and the late Gene Masters. She was always a wonderful homemaker and loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed shopping and family. In addition to Alisa Crutcher (James Adkins), Rwanda leaves memories with her grandchildren Kaylee Crutcher, Weslea Crutcher, Levi Adkins, and Everett Payne, as well as her 5 sisters Deana Walsh (Jeff), Connie Rial (Jeff), Darlene Dennis, Kathleen Gaytan, Tina Garcia, and Becky Crutcher, and 3 brothers, Kenny Crutcher, Jeff Crutcher, and Tim Masters, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by a son James Crutcher, a brother Kenneth Crutcher, and a niece Renee Rial. A Funeral Service is planned for 2 PM Friday Dec. 16, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Bales officiating, with cremation following the servi ce. Honorary bearers will be James Adkins, Shane Whitaker, Trevin Smith, Shawn Irwin, Kevin Payne, and Mike Hamm. The family will greet friends beginning at 4:00 PM ending at 8:00 PM on Thursday Dec. 15, at the funeral home. Having been a recipient of a lung transplant, Rwanda’s family suggests donations be made in her memory to Donate Life America (www.donatelife.net). “Mom, you were so strong. I know you didn’t want to leave. You were so tired and weak. Rest, my love, you are in God’s house. Miss you! Love you always!” Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust given to us to care for Rwanda and her family.
