One Jessamine County Church will soon celebrate hitting the half century mark.

Edgewood Baptist Church will celebrate its 50th birthday on June 26, starting with a worship service at 10 a.m.

The Brother’s Edge quartet will provide the music and Pastor Steve Gray will provide worshipers a message.

After the service, there will be a celebration in the back parking lot, with a barbecue dinner, Bluegrass music and bounce houses for the kids.

There is no cost to attend, and everyone is welcome.
