Entrepreneur and Nicholasville resident Donald “Don” Roe died March 20, 2022. An avid Kentucky basketball fan, Don also cheered for the Pittsburg Steelers when not running the three Firehouse Subs restaurants he owned with his son. Don loved The Andy Griffith Show and Two and a Half Men (much to the chagrin of his daughter). Don is survived by his wife of nearly forty-three years, Sherry Lynn Roe (Mobley), his daughter Tiffany Aron McGee (Marcus), son Donald Matthew, granddaughter Avah Dawn, stepmother Lois Roe, and tons of family and friends. Don will be remembered fondly, with love and laughter. A Celebration of Life service will be held for Don on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 2pm at Clark Legacy Center in Nicholasville-Brannon Crossing. A gathering of friends and family will immediately follow from 3-5pm. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Don to Appalachian Teen Challenge in West Virginia or the American Heart Association.
