Ronald Lee Eldridge, 61, husband of Tina Hollingsworth Eldridge, died Friday, December 10, 2021, in Crab Orchard, Kentucky. He was born in Waynesburg, Kentucky, on February 27, 1960, to the late Ruth Lee Riddle Eldridge, but he has called Nicholasville home since the early 1980s. Ron was owner and operator of Ron Eldridge Excavating and Ron Eldridge Properties LLC, Honorary Deputy Sheriff, and a partner in N.R. Enterprise. Ron was very active in the community serving on many committees and boards throughout Jessamine County. He was a well-respected community member and will be missed by many. He is survived by a son Cameron Eldridge, daughter, Alaina Eldridge, four grandchildren who he loved more than anything, Alyssa Eldridge, Conner Eldridge Bain, Kendall Eldridge, and Madelyn Eldridge, brothers, Jerry Eldridge, Benny Eldridge, Bobby Eldridge, Lonnie Eldridge, Larry Eldridge and five sisters, Janie Fortner, Janis Forbes, Judy Smith, Joyce Eldridge and Jean Eldridge also numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be 5:00 PM, Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the Jessamine County Fire Department, 1310 South Main Street, Nicholasville, Kentucky.
