Lewis Kenneth Johns, 94 widower of Minnie Catherine Blackburn Johns, died Thursday, September 2, 2021, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky on October 17, 1926, to the late Charles Edward and Mabel English Johns. He was a member of Nicholasville Baptist Church and retired from Canada Dry Distillery. Survivors include son, Gordon Scott Johns (Jenny), daughter, Catherine Sue Johns Wireman (Jeff), sister, Joretta Grow and four grandchildren, Tyrel Wireman, Lindsay Johns, Joshua Johns, and Michaela Wireman. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Verdinia June Johnson, Arby Johns, Billy Clay Johns, and Charles Edward “Sonny” Johns. Services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Betts & West Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
