Wanda Lois Preston Hager, 76, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021, at her home in Lancaster, Kentucky surrounded by her loved ones. Wanda was the wife of O’Neal Hager for 59 years. They lived on their farm for the last 37 years in Garrard County. She is survived by her children Jeffery O’Neal (Rebecca) Hager, Karen Jane Hager, and Steven Wayne (Sherri) Hager. Her grandchildren Jessica (James) Lane, Justin (Kendall) Hager and Zachary Collins. Her great grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexandra Allen. Wanda is also survived by one sister, Marcella Underwood. Wanda was loved and adored by all that knew her. Wanda had a great love and devotion to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Services will be 9 a.m., Friday, August 13, 2021, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Greg Becknell and Mickey Stinnett officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Jeffery Hager, Steven Hager, Justin Hager, Nicholas Allen, Darrell Warren, and Roger Todd Williams. Honorary bearers will be Alexandra Allen, Wesley Underwood, James Lane, Joseph Gunnels and David “Tank” Benton. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m, Thursday at the funeral home.
