Lillie Barrett Lynch, 75, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Baptist Health Lexington. Born December 19,1945 in Booneville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Eva Gross Barrett. Lillie enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping, crocheting, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Timmy Cooper, six siblings, Virgie Spivey, Della Mae Metcalf, Bill Barrett, James Barrett, Nancy Osborne, and Bessie Vest. Lillie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kimberly Menique Bentley (Daniel Alford), Wilmore, Jennifer Reynolds (Floyd), Paris, Randy Metcalf, Nicholasville, Daniel Spivey, Richmond, Luke Spivey, Nicholasville, brother, Benton Barrett, Winchester, nineteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery where pallbearers will be Preston Cooper, Christopher Spivey, James Spivey, Daniel Alford, Derek Cooper, and Danny Spivey.
