The Jaguar offense was in high gear, picking up 18 runs on eight hits, including three home runs, with one each coming from Taegan Bentley, Kaley Naylor, and Haylee Stansbury. Bentley fueled the offense, driving in seven runs on the day, going 2-for-2 at the plate with the home run and a double, and also scoring twice. Makayla McDowell was also 2-for-2 with a double and three runs scored.

Stansbury was in the circle for East Jessamine and allowed just two hits and one run while striking out four.

The Jaguars were slated to play at Henry Clay in Lexington on Tuesday after press time, and they are scheduled to play cross-county rival West Jessamine Friday at home at 6 p.m.
