Joe C. Peel, 82, husband of Linda Jane Peel, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, March 21, 2021. A native of Jessamine County, he was born on October 2, 1938, to the late Robert and Bonnie Hatton Peel. Mr. Peel was a service worker for Delta Gas. In addition to his wife of 63 years, he is survived by his sons, Barry Peel and John (Karen) Peel, both of Nicholasville; his daughter, Deanna (Steve) Taylor, Nicholasville; grandson, John R. (Faith) Peel, Jr; and great-grandchildren, Emily, Maddie and John R. Peel, III. He was preceded by his sisters, Barbara Warner, Margaret Fugate, and Dr. Nancy Peel. Mr. Peel requested no services.
