Ruth May Locker, 94, widow of Buford “Buck” Locker, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, at Diversicare of Nicholasville.

She was born in Cynthiana, Kentucky, on Oct. 9, 1926, to the late William and Sarah McLoney May.

She was retired from the Jessamine County School System where she worked in the cafeteria for many years.

She is survived by her daughters, Sue (Mark) Reed and Tammy (Robbie) Hudson; 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, special nephew David May, best friend Wanda Roberts and numerous other friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth Wayne Locker and John Willie Locker; grandson Michael Crutcher and two brothers, John May and Billy May; and lifelong friends Gary and Glenn Roberts.

Services will be at noon Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, at Betts & West Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, at the funeral home.
