A pedestrian remains in critical condition after she was struck by a pickup truck on Quinn Drive.

According to Nicholasville Police, the accident was reported around 2 p.m. Sept. 18.

The woman was walking by herself on the sidewalk near the Burger King on Quinn Drive as a black pickup truck pulled out of the restaurant. The driver told police he did not see the woman.

Nicholasville Police Sgt. Kevin Grimes said Tuesday that the woman was still in critical condition. The accident is still under investigation, but it does not appear any charges will be filed or citations issued, he said.
