William C. “Bill” Russell, 82, widower of Inez Russell, died Sept. 3, 2020, at Baptist Health in Lexington.

Born May 5, 1938, in Mercer County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Condit and Alice Johnson Russell.

Mr. Russell was formerly employed at I.B.M.

Survivors include two children, Carolyn Tillett and Anessa Russell Dunaway; four grandchildren, Kristen (Jeremy) Carson, Tommy Tillett, Nicholas Dunaway and Brianna Houp; five great-grandchildren, Madi, Maci, Aiden, Rilyn, Freya and Ava.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Janet Leigh Russell and William K. Russell.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020, at Kerr Brothers – Harrodsburg Road. Burial was at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
