9 arrested for drug trafficking

Police officers and sheriff’s deputies arrested nine people on drug trafficking charges and are searching for more than two dozen more.

On June 10, Nicholasville Police officers and Jessamine County Sheriff’s deputies culminated a months-long investigation into illegal drug trafficking. According to the Nicholasville Police Department, the investigation involved a number of purchases over the course of several months.

From those buys, officers confiscated a number of illegal narcotics including suboxone, cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, hydrocodone, heroin and fentanyl.

Those arrested June 10 were:

— Alice F. Tamayo, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

— David W. Noe, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine (four counts).

— Donald G. Parrott, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – fentanyl.

— Thomas D. Stokley, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine/heroin (six counts).

— Regina G. Middleton, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – fentanyl (two counts).

— Jason L. Butler, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine/cocaine (five counts).

— Ricky E. Denny, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – heroin (four counts).

— Maggie N. Blankenship, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine/heroin (five counts).

— John E. Rooney, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

Police said another 27 people have already been indicted in connection with the investigation. They will be arrested as they are located.

— Ronnie E. Underwood, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine (two counts).

— Marty R. Baker, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine (two counts).

— Latasha N. Woods, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine (seven counts).

— Scotty G. Wilhoite, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

— Timothy M. Estes, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – heroin.

— William T. Gore, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – heroin/cocaine (three counts).

— Christopher L. Goins, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

— Homer Estes, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

— Alan D. Tatman, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine (three counts).

— Charlene M. Palmer, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine/heroin (two counts).

— Gabriel M. Palmer, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine/heroin (two counts).

— James R. Assel, II, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

— Douglas W. Mulcahy, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – hydrocodone (two counts).

— Alexander P. Burress, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine.

— Paul E. Burress, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine (three counts).

— Charles T. Parker, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – cocaine (three counts).

— Jeffrey D. McManaway, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – heroin.

— James E. Gosser, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – cocaine (two counts).

— Kim Ballard, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – cocaine/suboxone (four counts).

— Willie L. Perry, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – cocaine (three counts).

— James Scott King, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – oxycodone.

— David L. Warner, Jr. first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – cocaine/heroin (three counts).

— Stanley C. Gross, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – fentanyl.

— Jennifer S. Lamb, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine (two counts).

— Joshua T. Lancaster, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine/heroin (seven counts).

— Jacob D. Powell, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine (four counts).

— David L. Carlin, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance – methamphetamine (two counts).
