After three months, authorities arrested a Nicholasville man for posting a threat against police online.

Kristopher Cole, 19, of 710 E. Chesnut Drive, was arrested following a traffic stop on East Maple Street May 8.

Police had been searching for Cole since January, when a photo appeared online of a police vehicle in front of a Jessamine County school with the word “retaliation” underneath.

Police said there was a gun pointed at one of the cruisers in the image.

Police identified Cole as the suspect at the time, but were not able to locate him until recently.

Cole was arrested for a number of warrants including charges of failure to appear, terroristic threatening, first-degree wanton endangerment and second-degree robbery.

Cole is being held in the Jessamine County Detention Center.
