Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

At the Jessamine County Public Library, you can create something new with the click of a mouse by using one of the four 3D printers available.

There are no limits to the items that could be made on a 3D printer.

These printers melt a plastic filament of your color preference to create an object.

You can easily create, download or modify a 3D print file by using some of the applications that have been downloaded to all the computers. Just like many of the other computers within the library, each user has up to three hours to print.

There is no cost associated with using the printers, but you must first take two classes, which are Intro to the JCPL Creative Space and then a 3D printer-specific training class. You may register for your first class on the JCPL website.

JCPL is located at 600 South Main Street, Nicholasville. For more information, call the library at (859) 885-3523 or visit our website at www.jesspublib.org .
