“For the first time in the Bluegrass, we will be hosting a tournament that is expected to attract even more media interest, which will provide a valuable opportunity to promote our local communities to a global audience,” Haley Wilson, marketing director at Top Seed, said.

Wilson said the slate of competitors has not been set, but visitors to the tournament can expect to see some of the best.

Tickets are available for general admission or box seats online at eventbrite.com. Tickets start at $5 for single-day general admission to $20 for a full tournament pass.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Lexington Humane Society.

A full schedule of events and match times is available at kytennisopen.com.

According to the press release, there are still opportunities to sponsor the tournament, volunteer or to be ball runners during the matches.
