Jay Richard Corman, chairman of the Board of Trustees at RJC Railroad Group, announces his candidacy for State Representative of the 39th District last week.

“The people of District 39 have long known my work as part of the RJ Corman company, and as an active member of the community,” Corman said. “I am running in order to serve my community’s needs more directly, and to continue spurring the same kind of development and growth that Jessamine County deserves.”

This is Corman’s first bid for public office.  

“I ask the people for the opportunity to work on their behalf, representing their interests in the General Assembly, continuing to improve our shared way of life through hard-work and initiative,” he said. “I believe that great things lie in store for all of us in the 39th District. I look forward to having the opportunity to serve you.”
