Brian Scott Lindsey
April 27, 1983 – Dec. 13, 2019
Brian Scott Lindsey, 36, of Glenbrook Court in Nicholasville, died Friday December 13, 2019 as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born in Panama City, Panama on the Fort Clayton Base on April 27, 1983 to Edd Allen and Terry Neil Clark Lindsey.
Brian was avid sports fan especially enjoying the University of Kentucky Basketball and watching the Lakers and Bengals play.
The biggest achievement in his life was his children and the love for his family.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his fiancee, Brandy Owen, three children, Aysha, Bradley and Natilee, a brother, Jason Allen Lindsey, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m., today, Dec. 19, 2019 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Allred officiating. Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m., on Thursday at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.BettsandWestfuneralhome.com

Judy Kirkland
Feb. 24, 1960 – Dec. 13, 2019
Judy Kirkland, of Wilmore, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 13, 2019 in Lexington. She was the wife of Harold Kirkland and the mother of Tracey Smith and Ann Nipp (Chad Nipp) who she loved very much, but her pride and joy was her three grandbabies Brandon Nipp, Clayton Smith, and Trinity Nipp.
She was a devoted member of Ignite Church and served in the children’s ministry faithfully. She was “Mama Judy” to many that she cherished. She was born Feb. 24, 1960 in Paris, and raised by the late Harold and Christine Newby Nichols.
Additional survivors include a sister, Carolyn Sue Nichols; and a brother, Marcus Wayne Nichols. She was preceded in death by one brother, Landon Nichols.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Apostle Jonathan Stidham. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Woodford County, KY. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 at the funeral home. Jerry Keith Abrams
June 23, 1954 – Dec. 15, 2019
Jerry Keith Abrams, 65, at Thomson Hood Veterans Center, Wilmore, formerly of Danville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on June 23, 1954 to the late Kermit Abrams and Virgie Lakes Johns. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by two daughters, Ciara and Haylee Abrams, three sisters, Brenda Willoughby Brown (Ronnie), Angie Howard (Matt) and Sondra Horning (Charles), the mother of his children, Dawn LaBelle, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Abrams. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve Jerry and the Abrams family.
