Both Jessamine County middle schools recently competed at the regional cheer competition in Garrard County where they each received placement advancing them to the state competition to be held next month, Dec. 21, at Alltech Arena. West Jessamine Middle School brought home first-place in the medium division, with East Jessamine Middle School bringing home first-place in the large division.
