Next week, Car Town Kia will break ground on a new building owner Lynn Alexander said will offer a wonderful experience for future customers.
The ground-breaking ceremony will take place Nov. 20 at 11 a.m.
Located at 3120 Lexington Road in Nicholasville, Car Town Kia’s business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m.to 8 p.m. Service hour are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The facility offers lube, oil and filter change, front end alignment, maintenance, replacement and adjustment to brakes and service packages, muffler and exhaust repair, coolant flush, vehicle checkup and inspection, transmission flush, electrical service, and the ability to purchase or lease a new vehicle, of course.
“We are having the ground-breaking ceremony because we want the public to know about the new facilities and we want our employees to experience the excitement & joy with us as we kick off this project,” Alexander said.
The owner stated the company has outgrown its current facility and it is time to expand and update its building. The project will take one year to complete.
“Our new facility will offer new equipment, cutting-edge technology, an expanded vehicle display as well as a variety of amenities that our customers can enjoy,” Alexander said.
Working with Brett Construction, Alexander said he developed a plan that would provide an uninterrupted experience for customers at the current facility while the new facility was being built.
“Once the new facility is constructed, we will move into the new building and demolish the existing facility, which will provide additional new vehicle display,” Alexander said.
In business since November 2002, Alexander said, along with his staff, they are extremely grateful to be kicking off the new project.
“(This) project will allow us to continue to grow, while providing the best car-buying experience possible for our customers,” Alexander said. “This project has been in the planning stage for a couple of years now, and our entire team is ecstatic about our new facility and want to share this moment with the public.”
