From staff reports

The Bryan Station Chapter NSDAR met on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019, at Equestrian Woods in Nicholasville. Members welcomed a guest speaker, Chief Judge of the Court of the United States Eastern District, Joseph M. Hood. His program described the naturalization process and ceremony held every few months at the federal courthouse in Lexington. Bryan Station is represented at these ceremonies by two members. Georgia Clemons and June Farris faithfully attend each event. Clemons gives a welcome address to the new citizens and their families, and Farris greets each new citizen with a smile and an American flag. The chapter also welcomed several new members at the September meeting.
