Former West Jessamine soccer player Brynn Bradley was named River States Conference Offensive Player of the Week for her performance for the week of Sept 2-8, it was announced by the conference on Monday.
This is the first time Bradley has earned this honor in her career, and the first Midway Eagle of the year to earn the honor.
Bradley built on her strong performance in the year’s opening week by scoring two goals and getting an assist in Saturday’s 5-2 win over Berea.
Her first goal of the match came a minute and a half in when she got behind the Mountaineer defense to draw the keeper out to put in her fourth goal of the year.
Bradley assisted on Regan Snyder’s goal in the 47th minute of the match, and then got in the net for her second goal of the contest in the 75th minute.
Bradley’s season totals sit at five goals and three assists in three matches. She currently leads the RSC in every meaningful offensive category. She also ranked 14th nationally in points, 15th in goals, and 35th in assists heading into Tuesday’s game at Georgetown.
Unfortunately, she was unable to add anything to her offensive totals in that game as the Eagles fell to the Tigers 8-0.
Led by Bradley’s offensive outburst, the Eagles sit at 3-1 on the young season.
