The Jessamine Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for Monticello Banking Company’s Nicholasville branch Friday, Aug. 2. The branch is located at 104 Springdale Drive, and it opened May 28. The ribbon cutting event drew a large crowd and featured food catered by Seasons Catering, a money machine, a raffle for gift cards and an iPad and a short speech by Steve Brinson, senior executive officer of the branch location. Brinson said the bank has 20 locations across Kentucky and began in 1895 in Monticello, and that the bank offers a full range of bank products.
