The Jessamine Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for Automatic Data Processing, Inc., or ADP, on July 24 at the Jessamine Chamber of Commerce. ADP has locations worldwide, with a location in Lexington at 2333 Alexandria Drive. Tara Johnson, who is the district manager there, serves the southwest side of Lexington, Nicholasville, Wilmore, Danville and Harrodsburg. Johnson works with small businesses from one to 50 employees and helps with payroll service needs and filing taxes, as well as human resources services for small businesses. “That’s a big deal for a lot of our small business owners,” Johnson said. “They don’t understand the complexities and the nuances that go into that, so we’re here to take that burden off of them and help them.” Pictured from left to right are Tommy Cobb, Amy VanDyke, Sheila Carmack, Felica Dotsey, Tara Johnson, Chris Johnson and Doug Marshall. Also present at the ribbon cutting but not pictured was Jenny Hofe, sales executive for ADP in Lexington.
