NICHOLASVILLE — Volunteer registration for the 2019 PGA TOUR Barbasol Championship is now open at barbasolchampionship.com/volunteer/.
The Barbasol Championship returned to Kentucky in 2018 and has recently been awarded a five-year extension to host the event through 2023 at Champions at Keene Trace in Nicholasville.
The 2019 Barbasol Championship will be played July 18-21.
“More than 1,000 volunteers help bring the Barbasol Championship to life ever year,” said Bryan Pettigrew, Tournament Director. “They are truly the heartbeat of the tournament and allow us to allocate essential resources to the five local charities we’re supporting this year through Caddie127 — we couldn’t do it without them.”

Volunteer Opportunities
Golf knowledge isn’t required to volunteer; in fact, the tournament has a variety of opportunities for golfers and non-golfers alike.
Volunteer assignments range from on-course marshals, standard bearers and TV spotters to merchandise volunteers, shuttle drivers, Pro-Am operations and more. A full list of committees can be viewed at barbasolchampionship.com/volunteer/. Committees are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to Register
Returning and new volunteers must complete online registration at barbasolchampionship.com/volunteer/.
All 2019 volunteers will receive one (1) of the following packages, in exchange for their generous donation to support the tournament’s charitable mission:

Volunteer Package with Golf (valued at approximately $460)
— One (1) Barbasol Championship Dri-fit Golf shirt
— One (1) Barbasol Championship Dri-fit ball cap
— Volunteer Credential-tournament access on days not volunteering
— Two (2) Complimentary Good-Any-Day Ticket(s) to the Barbasol Championship
— Continental breakfast and lunch provided on the day(s) you work
— One (1) Golf Voucher to play Keene Trace (non-transferrable – 3 shifts required)

Volunteer Package without Golf (valued at approximately $310)
— One (1) Barbasol Championship Dri-fit shirt Golf shirt
— One (1) Barbasol Championship Dri-fit ball cap
— Volunteer Credential- tournament access on days not volunteering
— Two (2) Complimentary Good-Any-Day Ticket(s) to the Barbasol Championship
— Continental breakfast and lunch voucher provided on the day(s) you work
