Nicholasville man arrested for marijuana, methamphetamine and heroin
James Elijah Taylor, 21, of 201 Orchard Drive Apt. 102 in Nicholasville, was arrested April 17 for possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, DUI, drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Taylor was asleep at the wheel of a running vehicle in the front yard of Lake Street. He was described as having slurred speech and pen point pupils. Taylor was not given a field sobriety test because he was uncooperative with officers.
Officers could see a plastic bag containing a white crystalized substance in the car. Upon search of the vehicle, officers also confiscated heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Hidden under miscellaneous items in the driver’s door were brass knuckles.
Taylor was taken to St. Joseph Jessamine and transferred to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Wilmore man arrested for DUI
Elbert A. Kirkland, 68, of 1125 Dik Drive in Wilmore, was arrested April 20 for DUI, according to a citation released by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.
Kirkland’s vehicle was parked off the roadway, running with its lights on. As deputies exited their patrol car and approached the vehicle, Kirkland was allegedly found in the driver’s seat asleep with a Bud Light bottle between his legs. Deputies also found other empty bottles in the vehicle and an open 12 pack cartoon on the passenger side floor board.
After several attempts at knocking on the window, Kirkland woke up and rolled down his window. He was described as having slurred speech and blood shot watery eyes.
When asked to step out of the vehicle, Kirkland had to be assisted in standing and refused balance tests stating he had drunk too much to complete them.
Kirkland was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville woman arrested for DUI
Blanca M. Chavez-Meza, 21, of 113 Foxwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested April 17 for DUI and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in the motor vehicle, according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Officers received calls about a subject at the above location driving around the parking lot intoxicated. Chavez-Meza was described as allegedly having slurred speech and blood shot eyes.
She was asked to perform a field sobriety test, which she failed. An intoxilyzer reading registered at .202.
Chavez-Meza was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville woman arrested for
heroin and methamphetamine
Heather M. Bush, 26, of 448 Corman Road in Nicholasville, was arrested April 16 for operating on a suspended or revoked license, rear license plate not illuminating, possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), according to a citation released by the Nicholasville Police Department.
Bush was observed traveling on Garden Park Drive with her rear license plate not illuminated. Upon stopping Bush, it was later discovered her driver’s license was suspended.
Bush was searched upon arrival at the Jessamine County Detention Center and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and heroin.

 

The following citations were released by the Nicholasville Police Department, the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office and the Wilmore Police Department.

— Lisa Elizabeth Hammie, 54, of 1018 Hickory Hill Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested for theft by deception, including cold checks under $500.
— Scott Thomas Workman, 58, of 4504 Thornbridge Lane in Lexington, was arrested April 15 for failure to appear.
— Timothy F. Davis, 51, address unknown, was arrested April 15 for bail jumping, failure to appear and non-payment of court costs.
— Brandy A. Cress, 33, of 126 Florence Court in Nicholasville, was arrested April 16 for contempt of court.
— Lakin Mulcahy, 25, of 259 Colts Run in Lancaster, was arrested April 16 for failure to appear.
— Tiffany Templin, 25, of 365 Ethel Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested April 16 for false statement and misrepresentation to receive benefits $100.
— Joshua L. Delcambre, 35, of 119 Leedeen Circle in Nicholasville, was arrested April 16 for failure to pay and failure to appear.
— Dillon Michael Stewart, 18, of 2000 Cornerstone Drive Apt. 1 in Lexington, was arrested April 17 for receiving stolen property under $500, no registration plates, failure to maintain required insurance and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
— Robert Anthony Coleman, 31, of 2909 Valley Drive in Louisville, was arrested April 17 for operating on a suspended or revoked license.
— Darnell Wheat, 39, of 408 Foxwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested April 17 for non-payment of court costs.
— David R. Gannon, 48, of 323 Royalty Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested April 17 for failure to appear.
— Cierra D. Locker, 21, of 113 Garden Park Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested April 17 for failure to appear.
— Gary Warren Ingram, 32, of 404 Laurel Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested April 17 for receiving stolen property under $10,000.
— Steven W. Hall, 36, of 557 Camp Daniel Boone Road in Nicholasville, was arrested April 17 for violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order.
— Jefferey S. Adams, 53, of 301 Parker Place in Nicholasville, was arrested April 17 for a probation violation.
— Rickey Kelly, 65, of 107 Garnet Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested April 18 for contempt of court.
— William S. Hogue, 29, of 15 Redgate Road in Lancaster, was arrested April 18 for failure to appear.
— Anthony P. Pemberton, 36, of 139 Leedean Circle in Nicholasville, was arrested April 18 for failure to appear.
— Janice M. Morton, 35, of 445 Linden Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested April 19 for failure to appear.
— Kenneth S. Morris II, 22, of 172 Gleneagles Way in Versailles, was arrested April 19 for non-payment of court fees.
— Hailey Prather, 31, of 485 Feck Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested April 19 for a Boyle County warrant.
— Colby Yaney, 35, of 1636 Danville Loop 1 in Nicholasville, was arrested April 19 for fourth-degree assault.
— Freddie Eary, 39, of 102 Elmwood Court in Nicholasville, was arrested April 20 for failure to pay.
— Lajancin Penman, 24, of 110 Fourth St. in Nicholasville, was arrested April 20 for a Jessamine County warrant.
