Several East Jessamine Middle School Junior Beta members volunteered at Sweet Blessings as a small group with their sponsor, Sheena Roller, EJMS instructional coach. Junior Beta members said they hope to volunteer at this nonprofit once or twice a month. Sweet Blessings’ mission is to provide beautiful custom-made birthday cakes for children who might otherwise not have one, as well as children living in poverty or with a chronic illness.
