Norman Crouch
May 24, 1928 – March 1, 2019
Norman “Bee” Odell Crouch, 90, passed away peacefully on Friday March 1, 2019 at the VA Community Living Center, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the beloved husband of Reba Arlene Crouch for more than 64 years, who preceded him in death in 2017. Born May 24, 1928 in Pickett County, Tennesse to Rosier and Artie Crouch. Bee proudly served in the U.S. Armed Services during the Korean War. He was a long-time employee of McMahan Furniture Co. of Campbellsville. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.
Bee will be remembered for his love of woodworking and devotion to his family. He is survived by his two sons David (Carla) and Bruce (Tammy) along with his cherished grandsons: Elijah, Isaac, Jonah, and Zachary. He is also survived by his siblings Georgia DeGeorge, Vivian Chandler, Jean Copeland, Nadean Dalton, Helen Lee, Wendell Crouch, O.W. “Bud” Crouch, Guy Martin “Marty” Crouch, Carter Crouch, and Danny Crouch. Additionally, Bee is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Bee touched are invited March 15th, 2019 to the Edgewood Baptist Church, 717 South Main Street Nicholasville, Kentucky. Visitation is from noon to 1:30 p.m. service, a memorial service from 1:30 to 2 p.m. followed by graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, 6980 Danville Road Nicholasville, KY. This obituary was lovingly submitted by Bee’s family. Cremation was chosen by the Crouch family, and Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to serve them in their time of need.

Perlie Newton
July 16, 1933 – March 11, 2019
Perlie Newton, 85, wife of Lowell Newton, died March 11, 2019 at the St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Born July 16, 1933 in Salyersville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Elizabeth Harvey Wagers. Mrs. Newton was a retired University of Kentucky Physical Plant Supervisor, and a member of Lancaster Nazarene Church. Survivors other than her husband include one of three children, Gary (Pauletta) Embry; eight grandchildren, Chad Embry, Lori Embry, J.D. (Katie) Knight, Mark Perkins, Natalie (Dale) Durham, Chase (Britney) Noble, Calvin (Amber) Embry and Jake Embry; nine great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa M. Bowman; a son, J.L. Embry; and a granddaughter, Kim Knight. Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday March 15, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Harrodsburg Rd. by Pastor Dwayne Lobb. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions are suggested to Bluegrass Hospice Care, 2312 Alexandria Dr., Lexington, KY 40504.
