Rita had a career as a social worker, and if you knew her, you knew she was destined for a career helping others through her nature and the way she approached life every day.

Rita worked as an in-take services, and Adult Protection Services worker for the State of Oklahoma.

Later, Rita and her family relocated and she worked as a Child Protection and Interstate Compact Services worker for the State of Alaska. She eventually finished her career as a supervisor for a child Protection unit.

In 1999 Rita moved to Kentucky. While in Kentucky.

Rita was always doing what she could to lend a helping hand. Rita spent much of her time taking care of her grandchildren.

She served in several leadership roles at Nicholasville Christian Church. She worked as a driver for “Meal on Wheels”, and also as an interpreter for those who could not afford to hire someone.
