Chamber’s annual dinner wows the community

will say one thing is certain, the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce sure knows how to throw one great party!

Last week, the chamber hosted its annual dinner and awards ceremony at the R.J. Corman Hangar. This year’s theme was a masquerade party, and almost everyone who attended participated and succeeded in wowing me by showing off their one of a kind masks for the event. I was not able to attend last year’s event, but I hardly see how next year’s annual dinner can top what the chamber did this time around. Although, knowing Ronda May and most of the others at the local chamber office, I am sure they won’t let us down and will wow us all again.

Pictures from the event can be seen on today’s Neighbors page. We will also be highlighting photographs in our next edition of Jessamine Life magazine, due out at the end of next month. For those who are not familiar with the chamber, let me have the honor of introducing you to one of the best local spots for businesses in Jessamine County.

I hope to see many more people out at next year’s annual event. Although, to be honest, if that is the case, the chamber may have to rent a bigger space.
