The Jessamine County Saddle Club recently hosted its annual Christmas dinner with more than 52 people in attendance. 

Members were rewarded for their annual points which are accrued for participation throughout the year.  High point winners for adults were first-place, Susie Miller; second-place, Robby Goins and third-place, Sara Naylor. Children’s category high point winners were first-place, Rob Goins; second-place, Zac Naylor and third-place Emily Naylor.

Appointed 2019 officers include Kate McGuigan, treasurer; Amy Goins, vice president; Jennifer Spears Young, secretary; Mandy Parker, president and Mady Goins, reporter.

Those interested in joining can get involved in the saddle club by attending the annual chili supper membership drive at 5:30 p.m. Saturday Feb. 9 at the Jessamine County Extension Office, located at 95 Park Drive, or by joining the clubs monthly meeting the first Monday of each month starting in March at 7 p.m. at the extension office.
