St. Luke Catholic Church Christmas Bazaar

St. Luke Catholic Church announced its Christmas Bazaar. The event will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. Dec. 4 to 7, located at 304 S. Main St. This year features more opportunities to buy from a huge range of items the gifts you need to complete your lists.  The event will feature the traditional chili and white chili. Also offered will be the old time favorite of soup beans and johnnycakes.  Those interested can also call ahead for take-out at 859-887-5711. 

Asbury Theological Seminary candle lighting service

Asbury Theological Seminary will host an advent candle lighting service at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Estes Chapel. The event will feature Asbury Seminary singers and orchestra.

Free meal at Saint Aidan’s 

Saint Aidan’s Anglican Church invites the community to a free meal every Wednesday night at 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. St. Aidan’s is located at 926 S. Wilmore Anglican Church meeting at Asbury

Bethel Harvest Church food distribution

Bethel Harvest Church, located at 3260 Lexington Road, will host a food distribution every Thursday from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. The event is free to all Jessamine County residents who present a county ID.
