Mt. Lebanon revival services

Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church will hold its revival services at 7 p.m. nightly Nov. 2-4 with Pastor Brad Johnson preaching. The church is located at 1001 Mt. Lebanon Pike. Brookside Baptist 30th annual homecoming celebration

Brookside Baptist Church, located at 1351 Wilmore Road in Nicholasville, invites the community to its 30-year homecoming celebration on Nov. 18.  The event will feature a morning worship service at 11 a.m. Those who attend are invited to also stay for a fellowship lunch following the service.   All are welcome.

Edgewood Baptist host annual Veterans Appreciation Service

Edgewood Baptist Church, located at 717 S. Main St., will have its annual veterans appreciation service at 6 p.m. Nov. 4. In observance of the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI, all the names of the WWI soldiers from Jessamine County who gave their lives for our freedom will be read. The church encourages the descendants of these soldiers to attend and to contact the church office at 885-6211 so they can be recognized during the service.

Free meal at Saint Aidan’s 

Saint Aidan’s Anglican Church invites the community to a free meal every Wednesday night at 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. St. Aidan’s is located at 926 S. Wilmore Anglican Church meeting at Asbury

Bethel Harvest Church food distribution

Bethel Harvest Church, located at 3260 Lexington Road, will host a food distribution every Thursday from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. The event is free to all Jessamine County residents who present a county ID.
