Head Start presents ‘trunk or treat’

Head Start, located at 1330 Drake Lane in Wilmore, will host a ‘trunk or treat’ event from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 29. Those who join are asked to decorate the trunk of their car and bring candy. 150 people are estimated to be in attendance. For more information or to RSVP, call 858-2585.

Jessamine DUI offers education program

The Jessamine DUI and Substance Abuse Program offers a 20-hour education program weekly from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. An out-patient program is offered Mondays at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Assessments are by appointment only. Attendees must have a court AOC form, citation and conviction date prior to appointment. Well nutrition hosts Body Recall
