Wilmore Presbyterian Church cook-off

Wilmore Presbyterian Church, located at 100 N. Lexington Ave. will host its second annual chili cook-off from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20. The cost is $7 per person and includes a sampling of each chili, a bowl of your favorite chili, crackers/bread and drink. Desserts and extra bowls of chili will be available for an additional cost. All proceeds will support the Clean Cupboard Ministry the church’s sponsored hygiene pantry serving families across Jessamine County. For more information, contact the church at 859-858-3074 or wilmorepreaby@gmail.com.

Free meal at Saint Aidan’s

Bethel Harvest Church food distribution

Bethel Harvest Church, located at 3260 Lexington Road, will host a food distribution every Thursday from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. The event is free to all Jessamine County residents who present a county ID.
