Wilmore man arrested for using heroin

Jonathon T. Johnson, 28, of  360 Gillespie Lane in Wilmore, was arrested Sept. 21 for public intoxication (excluding alcohol), according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers responded to Peachtree and Grapevine in reference to a possible overdose and observed Johnson unconscious. When officers went to wake Johnson, he responded right away and was described as having slurred speech and constricted pupils.

Johnson was read his Miranda rights and agreed to talk to officers. He allegedly informed them that he shot up heroin in the morning. EMS on scene advised that he did not overdose.

Johnson was transported to St. Joseph Jessamine for medical clearance and then transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Danville woman arrested for heroin

Andrea Elizabeth Johnson, 30, of 1071 E. Lexington Ave. No. 21 in Danville, was arrested Sept. 21 for possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nichoalsville Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to Royalty Ave. in Nicholasville in reference to a suspicious person in the passenger seat of a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Johnson and noticed while talking with her Johnson was allegedly trying to stuff something under her seat.

Johnson was removed from the vehicle, and officers located a needle under her seat along with a folded piece of paper containing suspected heroin.

Johnson was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for methamphetamine

Larry S. Hutson, 39, of 120 Redding Court in Nicholasville, was arrested Sept. 14 for resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

While investigating a suspicious person complaint, officers located Hutson sleeping in a tree line. Hutson consented to a search, which resulted in officers locating a Marlboro cigarette pack with a black bag inside and a crystal substance located in the cellophone wrapper. 

Officers asked Hutson what the substance was and he allegedly told them ICE. When officers went to apply handcuffs, Hutson tried to pull away refusing to put the hand cuffs on by putting his hands behind his back. Officers asked Hutson to comply, and he continued to resist, forcing officers to take Hutson to the ground in order to put the handcuffs on him. Hutson continued to not comply, and was advised if he continued to resist he would be tased. A taser was used at which time Hutson complied with commands.

Hutson was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Mt. Sterling man arrested for parole violation along with possession of methamphetamine, marijuana

Christian L. Pierce, 26, of 129 Fairfield Drive in Mt. Sterling, was arrested Sept. 21 for improper registration, failure to maintain required insurance, possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers observed Pierce traveling on Richmond Avenue in a vehicle with the wrong license plate attached to it. Pierce had a warrant out for his arrest for a parole violation. During a search, officers located a small amount of marijuana in his sock. A search of the vehicle then resulted in the confiscation of a small amount of methamphetamine, syringes, a spoon with residue, two digital scales, and a cut straw inside a backpack, which Pierce allegedly stated was his.

Pierce was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Victor Lamartina, 68, of 91110 Harrodsburg Road # 4 in Wilmore, was arrested for being a wanted person from Missouri.

— Courtney Hall, 19, of 619 Bohicket Road in Wilmore, was arrested for criminal possession of a forged instrument, counterfeit $100 bills.

— Gentry Paul Wells, 30, of 3561 Perryville Road in Danville, was arrested Sept. 4 for DUI.

— David Smith, 48, of 201 N. Second St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Sept. 14 for alcohol intoxication in a public place.

— Roger D. Bowlin, 29, of 1779 Kissing Ridge Road in Nicholasville, was arrested Sept. 14 for non-payment of court costs.

— Aaron T. McElroy, 24, address unknown, was arrested Sept. 15 for alcohol intoxication in a public place.

— Jessica G. Smith, 28, of 218 E. Maple St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Sept. 15 for failure to appear.

— Anthony T. Abney, 27, of 107 High St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Sept. 15 for failure to appear.

— Catherine Angela Williams, 51, of 105 N. Central in Nicholasville, was arrested Sept. 15 for a probation violation and non-payment of court costs.

— Jessica L. Overby, 20, of 102 Lone Oak Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Sept. 16 for second-degree assault.

— Tammy Obrecht, 47, of 123 Cottage St. #B in Nicihoalsville, was arrested Sept. 16 for contempt of court.

— William Curtis, 34, of 453 Crest Hill in Harrodsburg, was arrested Sept. 16 for failure to appear.

— James Hawkins, 50, of 717 E. Chestnut St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Sept. 16 for failure to appear.

— Brooke Freman Dinsmore, 34, of 710 Wabarto Way in Nichoalsville, was arrested Sept. 17 for failure to appear and alcohol intoxication in a public place.

— Elizabeth J. Kendrick, 31, of 1656 Kissing Ridge Road in Nicholasville, was arrested Sept. 17 for possession of a controlled substance, prescription container not in proper container, contempt of court and a probation violation.

— Shana G. Collier, 31, of 114 Sparks Ave. in Nicholasville, was arrested Sept. 17 for non-payment of court costs.

— Joshua Baker, 30, of 224 Hartley Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Sept. 24 for a Jessamine County warrant.
