The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office reported it received a call after 3 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 13 that a deceased male body was discovered off Pekin Lane.

The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office and the Jessamine County Coroner’s Office have identified the victim as 30-year-old Carlos Alberto Meja.

The death has officially been ruled a homicide. Anyone with information on Meja is asked to call the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office at 859-885-4139.
