Nicholasville man arrested for public intoxication

Marcus A. Haynes, 24, of 314 Garden Park Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 14 by the Nicholasville Police Department for a third-offense in 12 months of alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Haynes was seen sitting in a chair at a table in front of Al’s Auto Repair on North Main Street. Haynes was described as unconscious, slumped over and difficult to wake. Upon waking, he struggled to answer basic questions and had slurred speech and poor balance, according to the citation.

Officers found an open can of beer next to Haynes and another in his bag. Haynes was arrested and transported the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation. 

Nicholasville man arrested for marijuana

Jeffrey M. Webb, 27, of 126 1/2 Cottage St. in Nicholasville, was arrested by NPD Aug. 13 for possession of marijuana, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and prescription container not in proper container.

Officers were dispatched concerning a verbal dispute, and upon arrival, were given permission to enter the residence. Webb was located inside, and it was confirmed there were two active warrants for his arrest.

Upon search, officers found three individual clear zipper lock bags in shoes that were identified as Webb’s which contained methamphetamine, according to the citation. The pills were located inside a cigarette pack. The methamphetamine was allegedly packaged by varying sizes and in a manner which suggests sale or transfer.

Three pills were also located with the methamphetamine. They were identified as Alprazolam. A bag a marijuana was also located on Webb. In Webb’s shoe, a handcuff key was also found. Webb was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Lexington man arrested for trafficking in a controlled substance

Devin T. Overstreet, 28, of 2516 N. Moray Place in Lexington, was arrested by NPD Aug. 16 for third-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, operating on a suspended or revoked license, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to maintain required insurance.

Officers were dispatched concerning to a silver Impala driving recklessly on Homestead Drive. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle on North Main Street. Through investigation it was confirmed Overstreet was operating on a suspended or revoked license.

A Xanax pill was located along with a cut straw inside a backpack inside the trunk of the vehicle, according to the citation. The pills were packaged inside one bag and kept in a box of additional bags. A lap top and $185 in cash were also located in the backpack. Overstreet was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Derek Wells, 29, of 717 E. Chestnut St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 1 for failure to appear.

— Robert Steinberg, 30, of 10408 Toll House Court in Louisville, was arrested Aug. 10 on a Jefferson County warrant.

— Jennifer Perez, 41, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Aug. 10 for failure to appear.

— William Baker, 25, of 102 W. Walnut St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 10 for failure to appear.

— Chris Cook, 22, of 805 Regina Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 10 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.

— Jack Wright, 28, of 103 S. Glencove in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 11 for first-degree sexual abuse.

— Dustin Hoover, 26, of 1763 Kissing Ridge Road in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 11 for first-degree criminal mischief.

— Jennifer Issacs, 33, of 101 Beachwood Drive Apt. B in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 11 for failure to appear.

— William Thacker, 61, of 425 Hartley Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 11 for failure to appear.

— Dora Waques Puck, 52, of 147 Forrest Elliot Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 12 for theft by unlawful taking under $10,000.

  Lavonne Smith, 24, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Aug. 13 for a parole violation.

— Stephen Spillman, 34, of 218 Green St. in Nicholasville, was arrested on Aug. 13 for failure to appear.

— Steven Cartwright, 47, of 410 S. Third St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 13 for contempt.

— Tiffany Shearer, 32, of 120 Woodlawn in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 10 for harassing communications.

— Paule C. Rison, 60, address unknown, was arrested Aug. 13 for non-payment of court costs.

— Clint Collins, 36, of 324 Foxwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 13 for trafficking in a controlled substance (codeine).

— Jeffrey M. Webb, 27, of 126 1/2 Cottage St. in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 13 for a parole violation and failure to appear.

— Colbi Delaney, 28, of 3321 Perryville Road in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 14 failure to appear.

— Shannon Smith, 27, of 301 Orchard Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 14 for failure to appear.

— Usbias Phillips, 31, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Aug. 14 for failure to appear.

— Justin Birchum, 26, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested Aug. 14 for failure to appear.

— Paul Cuzick, 50, of 81 Cool Breeze in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 14 for failure to appear.

— Daron James Turner III, 19, of 302 Wabarto Way in Nicholasville, was arrested Aug. 14 for fraudulent use of a credit card.

— John C. Owens, 38, address unknown, was arrested Aug. 14 for non-payment of court costs.

— Jacob E. Stamm, 33, of 417 E. Maple St., was arrested Aug. 14 for failure to appear.

— Mary Melissa Drummer, 43, of 218 Lake St. in Richmond, was arrested Aug. 14 for a parole violation.
