Lois Master Cobb

July 29, 1929 – June 25, 2018

Lois Master Cobb, 88, loving wife to J.T., passed away Monday.

Lois was born on July 19, 1929, to John Masters and Zoba Lackey in Madison County. Lois was a homemaker.

She is survived by her three sons Michael, Clay, and John (Sue), a brother Clayton (Betty) Masters, devoted sister Sue Masters, grandsons Rusty and Neal (Michelle) Cobb, great-grandchildren Clint, Nicole, Michael, Alexander, and Julianna Cobb, two great-great grandchildren Brenleigh and Adelyn Cobb, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lois is preceded in death by her brother Joe Masters, and sister in-law Dorothy.

Funeral services will be Friday, 11 a.m., at Betts and West Funeral Home with Pastor David Barton officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Cobb Cemetery in Nicholasville.

Visitation will be Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Betts and West.

Pallbearers will be Rusty, Neal, Clint, Alexander, and Ragan Cobb, George Smith, and Greg Hobson.

Cathy Witt

May 25, 1924 – June 25, 2018

Cathy Witt, 94, passed away June 25, 2018 at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Witt; son, Doug (Wanda) Osborne; daughter, Sheree (Gary) Boston; sisters, Millie Thomas and Sandy Drury; grandchildren, Ian Osborne, Erin (Travis) Muessig, Amy (Brett) Johnson, Jessica (Chuck) McKenney, Adrienne (Ian) Johnston, Robby Boston, and Zachary Boston; six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Beckham and Elizabeth Phelps Lacy; son, Mike Osborne; sisters, Bette Davenport and Patricia Robinson, and brothers, Ron Lacy and John Lacy.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018 with a service to follow at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing.

Burial will be at 10 a.m., June 29th at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
