Nicholasville woman arrested for promoting contraband

Latasha N. Woods, 32, of 228 Marblecreek Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested June 18 for second-degree promoting contraband, according to a citation issued by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to Taylor Ridge Road after four 911 hang-up calls.

Once deputies arrived, they came in contact with Woods and discovered she had a warrant for her arrest in Fayette County.

Woods was transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center. Once inside, she was searched by detention center staff who located four Xanax and 1half a Suboxone tablet in a Tylenol bottle, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for public intoxication

Corey A. Metters, 38, of 123 Imperial Way in Nicholasville, was arrested June 23 for public intoxication, according to a citation issued by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies received a report of a man throwing bottles at vehicles on US 27 at Ashgrove Road. Upon contact with Metters, he told deputies he was drunk and was walking home to fight with his neighbor.

Metters matches the description of the person throwing bottles as a white male, no shirt and wearing jeans. Metters was wearing no shirt and blue jeans. He was arrested and transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation. 

Nicholasville man arrested for DUI

Brandon Roberts, 38, of 254 Williamsburg Road in Nicholasville, was arrested June 19 for DUI, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers responded to a single injury collision at US 27 and Hoover. Upon arrival, officers found the vehicle over the shoulder and down an embankment. The vehicle had been traveling south on US 27 and went through the median, and across all lanes to the the opposite side of the US 27.

Roberts allegedly had slurred speech, constricted pupils and was unsteady on his feet, according to the citation.

Roberts allegedly told officers he takes his medication, Klonopin and Gabapentin.

Roberts failed a field sobriety test by continuing to grab his lower back. Roberts was transported to St. Joseph Jessamine by EMS for potential injuries, where he refused a KSP blood test. Roberts was medically released by St. Joseph Jessamine and was transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville man arrested for methamphetamine

Edward L. Carroll, 35, of 216 Christopher Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 20 for fleeing or evading police (on foot), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers were in the area of Christopher Drive attempting to locate Carroll. Carroll had an open probation warrant, according to the citation. Carroll fled on foot from the officers once they caught up to him. Carroll was carrying a black bag with approximately 5 grams of methamphetamine inside, along with several syringes, a spoon and a makeshift tourniquet.

Carroll was transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Eubanks man arrested for cocaine

James H. Stringer Jr., 38, of 5270 Hwy 328 West in Eubank, was arrested on June 19 for fourth-degree assault and possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers responded to Beaufort Place in reference to a domestic assault. The victim said Stringer pushed them as they were going up the stairs, and claimed they felt pain and feared for their safety. The victim allegedly told officers Stringer frequently abuses them. A search of Stringer resulted in the confiscation of an open Black and Mild cigar pack. Inside the clear wrapper was a small knotted bag that contained suspected cocaine.

Stringer was transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

Nicholasville woman arrested for public intoxication

April M. Bain, 26, of 526 W. Brown St. in Nicholasville, was arrested June 19 for public intoxication excluding alcohol, according to a citation issued by the Nicholasville Police Department.

Officers responded to the area of Shun Pike and Edgewood Drive in reference to reports of a female on foot calling for “help.” Officers made contact with  Bain at Shun Pike and Greenbriar. Bain was described as unsteady on her feet and spoke with slurred speech. Bain allegedly told officers she did not require help or assistance but had been calling for her boyfriend. Bain was described as “manifestly under the influence” and a danger to herself and others.

She was transported to the Jessamine County Detention Center, according to the citation.

— Brandon Shelby Stinnett, 39, of 113 Lake St. in Nicholasville, was arrested for violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order and violation of conditions of release.

— Jessica R. Fritts, 28, of 215 S. Main St. Apt. A in Nicholasville, was arrested June 18 for failure to appear.

— Timothy C. Scotts, 55, of 3260 Vince Road in Nicholasville, was arrested June 18 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.

— Taubreenia A. Brown, 31, of 212 Foxwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 18 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.

— Aleya Milby (Patish), 32, of 202 Locust Heights in Nicholasville, was arrested June 18 for an Adair County warrant and a Taylor County warrant.

— Latasha N. Woods, 31, of 208 Marble Creek Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested June 18 for a Fayette County warrant.

— Craig Myers, 43, of 101 S. Burbank Drive Apt. P59 in Montgomery, Alabama, was arrested June 18 for flagrant non-support.

— Lynette Spencer, 34, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 18 as a fugitive from another state.

— Melvin Lphonso Robinson. 47, of 2937 Wintergreen Drive in Lexington, was arrested June 19 for non-payment of court fees.

— Stephanie L. Taylor, 28, of 308 Peachtree Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 19 for non-payment of court fees.

— Crystal Gail Rawlins, 40, of 381 Campbells Branch in Ravenna, was arrested June 19 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.

— Lenora S. Blair, 33, of 414 Edgewood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 19 for alcohol intoxication in a public place.

— Westley Clay Jones, 36, of 1469 Thames Drive in Lexington, was arrested June 19 for failure to appear and theft by unlawful taking all others $500 or more but under $10,000.

— Debra Siletta, 51, of 268 Williamsburg Road in Nicholasville, was arrested June 19 for failure to appear.

— Jeffery Jones Winfield, 30, of 413 Edgewood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 19 for alcohol intoxication in a public place.

— Joe David Angel, 41, address unknown, was arrested June 19 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.

— Shelby Stinnett, 39, of 113 Lake Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 19 for violation of a Kentucky emergency protection order.

— Roy Lee Rainer, 46, of 321 Richmond Lane in Nicholasville, was arrested June 19 for theft by unlawful taking under $500 and first-offense possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

— Rhonda Lynn Rainer, 47, of 3500 Beaver Place Apt. 79 in Lexington, was arrested June 19 for theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000.

— Latasha Woods, 31, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 19 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.

— Regena Vincent, 36, of 34 Pine Grove Circle in Nicholasville, was arrested June 19 as being a fugitive from the state of Indiana.

— Brooke Copas, 31, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 19 for failure to pay.

— Joseph Smith, 40, of 331 Rubul Road in Nicholasville, was arrested June 19 for failure to pay and a parole violation.

— Robert Lee Gibson Jr., 39, of 92 Martin Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 19 on a Jessamine County warrant.

— Timothy David Macintosh, 27, of 30 Pleasant View Drive in Lancaster, was arrested June 20 for failure to appear.

— Adam C. Latham, 28, of 102 Beechwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 20 for failure to appear, a probation violation and non-payment of fines.

— Jessica Taylor, 22, of 224 Winding Way in Nicholasville, was arrested June 20 for failure to appear.

— Gary Wayne English, 61, of 105 Portland Way in Nicholasville, was arrested June 20 for non-payment of fines.

— Jessika Alec Turner, 27, of 201 S. Fourth St. Apt. 4 in Danville, was arrested June 20 for failure to appear.

— Regena Vincent, 36, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 21 as a fugitive from another state.

— Edward Carrell, 35, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 21 for receiving stolen property under $10,000.

— Carson Morten, 32, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 21 for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), theft by unlawful taking under $500, possession of a controlled substance (heroin), promoting contraband, theft of identity of another without consent and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Frances Martin, 43, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 21 for theft by unlawful taking of a firearm and receiving stolen property (firearm).

— Daniel Biddle, 27, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 21 for fraudulent use of a credit card, theft by unlawful taking under $500 and persistent felony offender.

— David Wilson, 37, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 21 for receiving stolen property $10,000 or more, first-degree promoting contraband and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

— Larry Hall, 45, of the Jessamine County Detention Center, was arrested June 21 for no registration plate, theft of identity of another without consent, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance and operating on a suspended or revoked license.

— James C. Powell, 57, of 1615 Longford Pass in Nicholasville, was arrested June 21 for violating of a Kentucky emergency protection order.

— Charles T. Parker, 24, of 321 Edgewood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 24 for failure to appear.

— Jeffrey Webb, 27, of 126 1/2 Cottage St. in Nicholasville, was arrested June 24 for non-payment of fees.

— Austin M. Clark, 22, of 292 Lyndale Ave. in Lexington, was arrested June 24 for failure to appear.

— Laura Collingsworth, 33, of 105 Oakwood Drive in Nicholasville, was arrested June 25 for theft by unlawful taking under $500.
